This Privacy Policy explains how Healnest (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles your information. Healnest is a privacy-first, offline health & fitness tracker. We designed the App so that your personal health data stays on your device.
All health and activity information you enter or that the App records is stored locally on your device (using on-device storage). This includes, depending on the features you use:
This data is not transmitted to us. We have no ability to read it. If you delete the App, this data is removed from your device. You can also clear your data from within the App's settings.
To count your steps and activity, the App reads your device's motion & fitness sensor data with your permission (Motion & Fitness on iOS / Physical activity on Android). This processing happens on your device. The motion data is not sent to us or any third party.
If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. No notification content is sent through external servers.
Healnest offers optional paid subscriptions and a one-time purchase. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never receive or store your payment card details.
To manage purchases and unlock features across reinstalls, we use RevenueCat, Inc. as our subscription infrastructure provider. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat processes purchase-related information such as the store transaction/receipt, product identifiers, subscription status, country, and a randomly generated app user identifier. Apple's and Google's handling of purchases is governed by their respective privacy policies.
If you use an export/backup feature, the resulting file is created under your control and saved where you choose. You are responsible for the security of any backup files you export and share. The App does not upload backups to us.
Healnest is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your data lives on your device, you are in direct control of it. You can view, edit, or delete your entries at any time, and you can remove all data by clearing it in settings or uninstalling the App. If you have questions about your rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, contact us using the details below.
